KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has invited bids for 12 small-scale mining areas in six provinces of the country.
The ministry on its Twitter page on Monday wrote: "These 12 small-scale mining areas are located in Logar, Maidan Wardak, Paktika, Faryab, Uruzgan and Helmand provinces, offered for tender by the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.”
The ministry asked interested people to submit their applications to the Directorate General of Minerals from Wednesday until next month. It said applications would not be accepted after the specified date.
