PARAKH (Pajhwok): The Education Department of central Panjsher province says that efforts are underway to address the issue of the lack of teachers, buildings and shortage of text books in schools.
Education Director Ghulam Eshan Hamas told Pajhwok Afghan News 21 out of total 129 schools were without buildings in Panjshir.
The schools in Anaba, Dara, Abshar and Hesa-i-Awal and Pariyan had no buildings and the students attending their classes in rented houses, he said.
Hamas added: “We have shared the issue of schools buildings with the Ministry of Education but yield no result.”
