KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan has detained 2000 Afghan refugees and 500 of them have been released so far during the past three months, the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad said on Monday.
The embassy says Pakistan has assured addressing the issue of detaining Afghan refugees in three weeks.
On its twitter handle, the Afghan embassy in Islamabad said the embassy and all consulates of Afghanistan in Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta will continuously try to solve problems of Afghans living in the neighboring country and other Afghans who visit the country.
