KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s super car maker Mohammad Raza Ahmadi said majority work of the super car has been completed but its name and price has not been declared as part of surprise and business plan.
The locally made super car was displayed last week on Kabul University Road which earned massive admiration at home and from abroad. Some national businessmen announced to purchase the national icon.
Ahmadi earlier said that five people, including himself, were involved in the making of this car.
Born in Iran, Raza studied construction engineering till 14th in Iran.
He first discovered a health instrument in Iran and later made a CNC machine during which he discovered that this machine could be used in the making of vehicle.
He added the making of CNC machine guided him to make a car.
According to his information, CNC machine is used for trimming and cutting metal, stone and wood, and it is also used in the making of car’s frame.
Ahmadi said making Afghanistan’s first super car was not my intention; I had two or three projects, which made us as a technical team to build a car.
Referring to the rate of car, he did not provide information but added some individuals and businessmen provided him support during the making of this car.
“A week before political changes in the country, we went to the vocational and technical education institute, but they were no official, there was no administrative structure, and no discussion was held. When the changes occurred we were in the Technical Institute for almost nine months and continued our work nobody knew what we are doing. One day, the director of this organization was visiting the organization. When he saw us, he was surprised how you are here. I told him the story. I requested that an innovation center be established, so that the problems of all young people who have innovations can be solved, our problems can also be solved in this center. Thank Allah for giving a very good result.”
Salient features of super car
Eng. Ahmadi said: “From day one we wanted to produce a car that had the characteristics of a super or fast sports car at a reasonable price.”
Without giving details, he said, more than 50 percent of aluminum and iron were used in the said car, it has high speed and light weight, and the body of the car is made of a combination of aluminum and “fury carbon
Ahmadi added: “I have not seen anything like this yet and I think that this car will create a lot of demand. If there is a 10 or 15 percent demand from Afghanistan for this supply, then it will be a great creation and with this, Afghanistan will be industrialized in the long run.”
He said at the moment the work of the car had completed and ready for business deal adding that the name and price the car will be a surprise.
Referring to long-term fighting in the country, he said: “The war is over and we have returned to normal life, there are a few problems, but now we do not see any difference with developed countries and nothing is impossible.”
Referring to ongoing migration since regime change, he said migration was a personal matter adding that for him Afghanistan was the best place to live.
He demanded the acting government to answer his question that Are they really want to build Afghanistan. He said if his question was answered then creative people will take more steps accordingly.
It is worth mentioning that in 2020, Afghanistan Power Company for the first time introduced its first care in the country.
