KABUL (Pajhwok): In a bid to keep the afghani stable in the market, the central bank is set to auction $17 million on Wednesday.
In a statement, Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) asked eligible commercial entities and moneychangers to take part in the auction.
According to the bank, the highest bidders are obliged to settle their accounts by the end of the day.
Partial transactions are not permissible, according to the statement, which said the winner was required to deposit the amount in cash.
