KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Higher Education Minister Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadim has said the Islamic Emirate is not against education and instead is trying to strengthen religious and modern education for a prosperous and self-reliant country.
The Ministry of Higher Education last month announced an indefinite ban on women’s higher education, sparking international condemnation. Many countries and organizations called the decision a violation of women's rights.
Without talking about girls’ higher education, Nadim in his speech at Kabul University said the enemy wanted to destroy them.
He said it was wrong that the Islamic Emirate was not committed . . .
