Scattered cattle markets to be shifted to Company area

KABUL (Pajhwok): Mini cattle markets in the different locations of the capital city of Kabul will be shifted to Company Bazaar — west of Kabul City — to ensure cleanliness of the city and avoid disorder and official said on Sunday.

Kabul Municipality Mayor Maulavi Abdul Rashid Salem discussed the issue of urban order with some cattle traders in Qala Cha areas at 8^th district on Sunday, the municipality said on its Twitter handle.

The mayor of Kabul city talked about issues related to the urban development, environmental protection and some other programs of the municipality, the source said.

The source further added, the mayor pointed to the existence of some cattle markets in some inappropriate areas of the city that caused chaos in the urban order which will be collected into one location in Company Area, the mayor said.

The cattle traders supported the decision and added that they will cooperate with the plan in which all the cattle markets will be sent to Company Bazaar area at the west part of Kabul city.
