KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A group of youth in southeastern Khost province has started efforts to encourage poor and orphaned children to get enrolled in schools.
The young men visit poor families in Khost City and districts, take pictures of children and give them basic educational materials and ask them to take admission in schools in the new academic year.
The volunteers say their campaign entered a third day on Thursday and so far they had printed pictures of dozens of poor and orphaned children and distributed them pens, books and school bags.
