KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN agency for population – UNFPA – on Sunday said it provided health services to 45000 pregnant women and girls in Afghanistan during the month of January.
In a tweet, UNFPA Afghanistan said it remained on the ground and continued to deliver for women and girls.
“In January, we worked with 1410 female health workers to reach 45000 women & girls, ensuring safe deliveries and psychosocial support for those in need.”
