ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) says new afghani banknotes printed by a French company will reach the country in May 2023.
Shah Mahammad Mehrabi, DAB’s supreme council member and board member of the Afghan Trust Fund in Switzerland said this on Friday.
He told TOLOnews the first batch of the new banknotes would arrive in Afghanistan in May. The rest will also be delivered later on.
“The French printing company has committed to delivering the first batch of the banknotes in May 2023 while the remaining notes are to be delivered in the last quarter of the year . . .
