KABUL (Pajhwok): Work on 82 public welfare projects worth 181.7 million Afs has been launched in the Namak Ab and Gulfgan districts of northern Takhar province, an official said on Monday.
The projects included the construction of road, canal and retaining walls. The projects would help benefit 939 families in these districts.
Samiullah Samimi, spokesperson for the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, said of the total 82 development projects 39 will be implemented in Gulfagan district and the remaining in Namak Ab district.
He said 13,551 people would get work opportunity as a result of the implementation . . .
