KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) says a fresh cash package amounting to $40 million arrived on Tuesday as part of the global fraternity’s humanitarian assistance.
The central bank tweeted that sending humanitarian aid through the banking sector ensures transparency and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people in need.
The DAB leadership welcomed the humanitarian aid to the country from the international community, hoping it would be spent through the banking sector.
Economic experts say the international humanitarian aid has been effective in mitigating problems and has a positive impact on people’s lives.
