KABUL (Pajhwok): The central bank is all poised to auction an amount of 16 million US dollars on Saturday.
In a statement, Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) invited eligible lenders and money-exchange services to take part in the auction.
The winners will have to settle their accounts by the end of the day, according to DAB, which said partial payments were unacceptable.
Amid continuing efforts to keep the afghani stable, the central bank has so far auctioned $8.3 million since the beginning of the current solar year.
