QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): A 50-year-old woman has been found dead in Qala-i-Naw city of western Badghis province, police said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Seddiqullah Seddiqi today (Saturday) tweeted the woman’s body was found in first security district of Qala-i-Naw on Thursday evening.
The victim, a resident of the first security district of Qala-i-Naw City, had been shot dead, he said.
Without providing details, the police official said the body was handed over to her family.
Siddiqui expressed unawareness about the cause and motive behind the murder, pending an investigation.
