3 men arrested for making fake passports in Laghman

MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Security officials have arrested three persons for allegedly making counterfeit passports in the capital of eastern Laghman province.

Laghman police spokesman Youna Yousafzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the accused were arrested on Monday in Mehtarlam.

The detainees took up to $4500 for each fake passport, he said. They had confessed to their crime and $4400 were also recovered from them.

Yousufzai said the detainees would be introduced to the judicial organs after completion of initial investigation.
