TALOQAN (Pajhwok): The provincial Hospital in northern Takhar province has been faced with the shortage of health personnel while officials pledged efforts underway to address the human resource problem in the hospital.
Provincial Hospital Director Dr. Hayatullah Emami said in the past four health wards --- maternity, children, general internal and general surgery --- were functional in the hospital while currently 10 more wards had been added.
The new added wards included ear, eye, psychology, ultrasound, hemodialysis, research and telemedicine.
Meanwhile, some physicians and patients complained against the shortage of health personnel.
