KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) has decided to register all journalists across the country and distribute cards to them.
The ministry tweeted on Monday that the decision was made at a meeting chaired by Information Minister Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa.
Shortcomings in areas of broadcasting and cultural affairs and the development of such activities during the current year were discussed at the meeting.
The participants insisted on the implementation of the agreement between relevant organisations that the Ministry of Information alone was responsible for handling media-related issues.
