SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): The Education Department has started reconstruction of 110 schools in northern Jawzjan province, which will benefit more than 30,000 students.
Jawzjan education director Maulvi Mohammad Tahir Jawad told Pajhwok these schools had been destroyed due to the past wars and the previous government’s failure to repair them.
He said the schools were being reconstructed in villages and five districts near Shiberghan city, the provincial capital.
Their reconstruction would cost $330,000 to be provided by the ACTED organization. “In Qush Tapa and Darzab districts alone, 30 schools are being rebuilt. The Daesh group used these buildings . . .
