Nearly 2,400 Afghan refugees return from Iran yesterday

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 2,000 Afghan refugees returned from Iran yesterday (Sunday), the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Monday.

At least 2,348 Afghan refugees came back to the country via Islam Qala in western Herat province, the ministry tweeted.

It wrote after a survey, 601 of the returnees were introduced to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for assistance.
