KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu says they have returned a large number of Afghan refugees to their country and the deportation process continues.
Çavuşoğlu said: “Immigrants came to Türkiye from Syria due to the civil war and also Afghan refugees entered the country through Iran,” Anadolu News agency said.
According to him, the Afghan immigrants were transferred back to Afghanistan by plane.
“Required measures will be taken, but we must not forget that three sides of Türkiye lead to the sea,” the foreign minister added.
