MoUs inked to promote industrial sector in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): A German Company ‘Stay In’ signs Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the Educational and Technical Institute of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and with the Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

The MoUs were signed at the Government Media and Information Centre (GMIC) on the occasion of National Industrial Symposium.

The Germany Company said that the purpose of convening industrial symposium was to create professional and learning bridge between Afghanistan and Germany.

The company said industrial and professional courses based on the German curriculum model with the understanding of the needs and conditions of Afghanistan and its purpose is to support the sector, improve the capacity of workers and solve the technical problems of factory owners in this country.

Mawlavi Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, acting head of the Technical and Professional Institute, said that the people of Afghanistan needed professional people in technical sectors.

He said efforts had been made this year on the bases of which new fields of learning would be introduced.

He said on the bases of signed MoU five professions would be taught in this institute for one year and this will help promote industrial sector in the country.

Muska Hamidi, head of the Stay In organization said that this program played linking bridge role between Afghanistan and Germany.

Commerce Ministry Spokesperson Akhundzada Abdul Salaam Jawad said their aim was to promote the economic condition of the country by promoting industry, small business, trade, generate jobs and improve the income of people.
