1 child killed, 2 injured in mortar shell explosion

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): One child has been killed and two others wounded when a mortar shell they were playing with exploded in western Ghor province, an official said on Monday.

The incident took place in Bunbakar area on Sunday, said police spokesman, Abdul Rahman Badri.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News a child, Kiramuddin, was killed and two others wounded after the mortar shell they were playing with went off.

The two injured children had been evacuated to provincial hospital for medical treatment.
