JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Malaria cases have been on the increase in eight districts of eastern Nangarhar province amid ongoing efforts to control the infection and create awareness.
Residents of Nangarhar say health officials should distribute mosquito nets to people and spray medicine in public places.
Dr. Syed Abdullah Baryalai, in charge of the fight against malaria in the eastern zone, said malaria cases had spiked in eight districts of Nangarhar.
