KABUL (Pajhwok): Construction work was launched on a road that would cost 530 million afghanis in Kabul city on Thursday, when another road costing 56 million afghanis was completed and put into service.
Amir Yasir, construction and transport deputy director at Kabul Municipality, during the launch of construction work on the road project, said the road would connect north-west of Kabul and 17th, 15th and 13th districts of the city.
He said the 7.5 kilometers long and 30 meters wide road was being constructed with the municipality’s budget.
