KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bareshna Shirkat (DABS) or power utility says power outages will increase in Kabul and provinces because electricity production has decreased due to lack of enough water in dams.
DABS spokesman Hikmatullah Maiwandi told Pajhwok they would carry out electricity blackouts in all provinces because water in dams was decreasing with each passing day.
However, he said the situation could change if heavy rains lashed the country, otherwise there would be blackouts across the country.
He said Naghlu and Sarobi dams would previously produce 100 megawatts per hour, but now their production had decreased to 93MW per . . .
