MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): At least three children were injured as a result of a hand grenade in central Kapisa province on Tuesday, an official said.
Police spokesman Abdul Fatah Fayez said the incident took place in the Dara-i-Afghania area of Nijrab district at about 8:00am.
He added: “A hand grenade left from the past in the area went off, wounding three children, including a girl.”
