ATLANTA (Pajhwok): The National Food and Drug Authority (NFDA) says a Chinese company is interested in investing $10 million in the production of medicine in Afghanistan.
Maulvi Matiullah Sahibzada, the deputy director of NFDA and in charge of medicines and health products, met the Chinese company CEO at his office on Monday.
In a statement from NFDA, Sahibzada said the Chinese firm expressed its willingness to invest $10 million in the manufacture of medicine in Afghanistan. The TNA CEO urged the government to cooperate with the pharmaceutical on providing security and land.
