MAIDAN WARDAK (Pajhwok): The asphalting of 27-kilometres Kabul-Kandahar Road from the Arghandi area of Kabul province till the Durrani Bazaar area of Maidan Wardak province has kicked off, according to a statement on Saturday.
The Government’s Economic Affairs Office on its social media handle wrote the asphalting work was inaugurated by Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar, the government’s economic affairs aide.
Acting Public Works Minister Mullah Mohammad Esa Sani, provincial officials and some private sector representatives were present on the occasion.
