PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A parliamentary panel has voiced serious concerns at alleged corruption visa issuance of visas to Afghan citizens
The National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs asked the Foreign Office, the Ministry of Interior and FIA to furnish reports on flaws in the visa processes.
Member of National Assembly Mohsin Dawar, who heads the committee, questioned the rationale for non-submission of such reports to the panel.
Loopholes in visa issuance and non-submission of reports to Parliament amounted to hiding corrupt practices in the visa process, he commented.
