KABUL (Pajhwok): Top Pakistani and Iranian diplomats have reaffirmed to continue their active engagement on Afghanistan.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian addressed a joint press conference on Afghanistan, Express Tribune reported.
Both sides called for supporting the people of Afghanistan, highlighting that any situation in Afghanistan would have an impact in the neighbouring countries of Pakistan and Iran.
Amirabdollahian said that regional efforts were the best way to address Afghanistan’s situation and achieving political stability was essential for ensuring long-term security and stability.
