KABUL (Pajhwok): A Shiite shrine has come under attack in Iran's southern city of Shiraz, leaving at least one individual dead, media reports say.
The state-run TV quoted a local official as saying one suspect had been arrested in connection with Sunday’s shooting.
Earlier reports put the death toll at four. Fars governor Mohammad Hadi Imaniyeh said an armed terrorist, who entered the Shrine area and started shooting, was arrested.
Reuters quoted the governor as saying: "One person was killed in the attack." Seven people, including two workers and as many pilgrims, were injured.
