MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least six individuals have been arrested for playing music in the capital of northern Balkh province, the Department of Vice and Virtue said on Saturday.
In a statement, the department said is personnel arrested the individuals for playing music during a circumcision ceremony in Mazar-i-Sharif on Friday night.
The statement added the detainees had been handed over to the department for further investigations. They were held with help of local security forces.
