GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Three people were arrested with weapons and ammunition in Gardez, the capital of southeastern Paktia province, on Saturday night, police said.
In a statement, the police headquarter said security forces arrested the trio, hailing from Khost, in the Zeho area of Gardez.
"Three Kalashnikovs, one pistol, four hand grenades, a car and military equipment were seized from the detainees," the police statement added.
The detainees were handed over to relevant organs for further investigations.
