ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Electricity supply for 2024 to Afghanistan has been discussed at a meeting between Turkmen and Afghan officials.
In a statement, the Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) said both sides discussed the Noor-ul Jihad substation project, electricity purchase for 2024 and other relevant issues.
The Turkmen team hoped that the Noor-ul-Jihad substation project would be completed by January 2024, and the amount of electricity supply to Herat province would increase from 70 megawatts to 110 megawatts.
