KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): The Labor and Social Affairs Department of southeastern Khost province says more than 2,000 children are engaged in heavy works in the province.
Shams-ul-Rahman, 10, originally from Laghman, is currently working in a brick kiln with his brothers in Gurbaz district.
Working from dawn to dusk, Rahman said: “I put the mud in the frame and it is hard work, we don’t have money that is why we work here due to poverty.”
