KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has asked Chinese investors to invest in Afghanistan’s electricity generation sector.
Muttaqi, who is in China on an official visit, visited the “Sichuan Energy and Investment Development" company and asked Chinese investors to invest in the electricity generation sector in Afghanistan, wrote Zia Ahmad Takal, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) spokesman, on his X page.
During his trip to China, Muttaqi visited one of the largest electricity supplier companies in Chengdu, Sichuan province, and discussed with officials of that company cooperation between Afghanistan and China about the development of electricity.
Muttaqi persuaded Chinese investors to invest in electricity generation in Afghanistan.
