PARAKH (Pajhwok): Seventeen children have been rescued from being smuggled to Iran in central Panjsher province, police official said on Friday.
Police spokesman Ebadullah Ebad Farooqi told Pajhwok Afghan News that these children are under the age of 15 and all of them are hailing from Baghlan province.
Farooqi said the children were rescued from the grip of smugglers by the police personnel of this province while being transferred to neighboring Iran from Panjsher.
