FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): The construction work on over 2,500 houses that destroyed during the past conflict has started in the Balakoluk and Fararoud districts of western Farah province, an official said on Tuesday.
According to the official the project will cost $1.3 million, the destroyed housed were identified during a three-month long survey.
Mawlavi Mohammad Israel Sayaar, the Natural Disaster Management Department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News these houses are being built with the financial support of the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) and it is expected that project would be completed in two months
