GARDEZ (Pajhwok): A newly-constructed building for a hospital was inaugurated in Dand Patan district of southeastern Paktia province on Monday.
The building consumed $100,000 provided by a Turkish charity ‘Nada Al-Khair’, said Paktia governor’s spokesman Abdul Qadir Ahmadi.
He told Pajhwok: “This hospital will treat urgent patients who previously went to Pakistan. Earlier, patients and common people would face many problems.”
He said the hospital has an emergency department, a women’s waiting room, a well-equipped laboratory, a pharmacy, a mosque and other related facilities.
