BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): The cleft lip or palate patients are provided free of cost treatment in the Provincial Hospital of Central Bamyan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Dr. Mohammad Abdi, head of the Provincial Hospital, said patients with cleft lip and palate are for the first time provided free of cost treatment – operation and recovery --- in the Provincial Hospital.
He said the Ministry of Public Health had provided the facility in order to treatment children and youth suffering from this problem.
He explained the process was kicked started from Tuesday and would continue for three days. So far over 40 patients had been provided with treatment.
