KABUL (Pajhwok): UN humanitarian aid chief Martin Griffiths says the world body is allocating $10 million for Afghan refugees returning from Pakistan.
Griffiths wrote on his X handle: “More than 300,000 Afghans have returned from Pakistan to Afghanistan since mid-September. I am allocating $10 million from @UNCERF to provide them with vital support and cover their basic humanitarian needs.”
On Monday, Pakistan has announced it will launch a campaign for the expulsion of all Afghan refugees after January 2024.
