Balkh high school student makes car

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A high school student in northern Balkh province with the support of his three other colleagues have made a care.

The car maker Hamid Gulbarg, 18, told Pajhwok Afghan News he made the car at the cost of 20,000 afs in six months. He was supported by three other colleagues and the money he spent from his own pocket.

He said the vehicle travel 120 kilometres in one hour and has the capacity to take one tonne weight. The Rakshaw engine, Suzuki tires and steel is used in its making.

He asked the government for support in order to make further development in the future.

Abdul Ghafoor Haqqani, head of the Work and Social Affairs Department, said government direly need these youth and will fully support them.

This comes that in October a sport care made in Afghanistan was presented in an exhibition in Qatar.
