TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Two narcotics processing factories have been destroyed in Dehrawud and Chora districts of central Uruzgan province.
Police spokesman Bilal Uruzgani said anti-narcotics forces destroyed a drug processing factory in Dehrawud district last night.
The police seized and destroyed 120 kilograms of processed ephedra, 270 liters of diesel, 17 barrels and 40 liters of different types of liquid drugs.
Uruzgani said another drugs production and processing factory was destroyed in Kotal area of Chora district last night.
He said 225 kilograms of grinded ephedra, 120 liters of acid, 50 kilograms of ephedra, 80 liters of diesel, a grinder and three barrels were seized and destroyed.
One person has been arrested in connection with the drugs and another made his escape good.
