State land recovered, 250 shops destroyed in Parwan

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): On acre usurped state land in the Syah Gard district of central Parwan province on which 250 shops were built had been retrieved after 25 years, an official said on Sunday.

Deputy District Administrative Chief Abdul Monir Ahmadi said the area was usurped by the powerful individuals who were retrieved in coordination with the police and municipality.

250 shops built in the lower bazaar and in market area were destroyed and the area was released from usurpation.

He said the half acres of land in this property was related to the State Gas Company and efforts were underway to rebuild state Gas Company here.

Ahmadi assured efforts were underway that all state usurped properties would be released.

Local residents hailed government efforts and demanded the usurpation of all lands.
