LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Working hours at factories in southern Helmand province had reduced as a result of energy shortage caused by low water level at Kajaki Dam, according to industrialists and officials on Monday.
Some industrialists have complained that their activities had come to halt after electricity supply from Kajaki Dam to the industry had cut off.
Farid Ahmad, in-charge of a cotton processing factory in the Bolan area of Lashkargah third Police District, said their production had declined after electricity supply from Kajaki dam had stopped.
