KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Food and Drug Authority (NFDA) collected and destroyed about 835 tons of poor quality food items and medicines across the country this solar year.
NFDA acting head Dr. Abdul Bari Omar told a press conference in Kabul that they destroyed about 20 tons of expired and poor quality food items which had been collected from different parts of Kabul.
He accused the previous government of doing nothing for food security and added NFDA was activated after the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA)’s takeover.
He claimed the US, NATO and their partners had used chemical weapons . . .
