DAB warns moneychangers against online fiscal services

KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) or central bank has warned moneychangers against online fiscal services because it has never issued such licenses to anyone.

DAB wrote on its X handle: “Some money exchangers provide online fiscal services through some apps which is considered fraud.”

“DAB once again announces that no money changer or individual has been issued license for online financial services, such services are illegal.”

The DAB leadership asked the people to refrain from doing online transactions with such companies and individuals due to the risk, losses and subsequent responsibilities associated with the transactions.
