AIBAK (Pajhwok): A teenage boy drowned in a river and was presumed dead while swimming in Dar-i-Sauf district of northern Samangan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Hashmatullah Rahmani told Pajhwok Afghan News the 19-year-old, a resident of the district, drowned in the Noor village on Tuesday.
Police were trying to recover the dead body, Rahmani added.
