AIBAK (Pajhwok): One individual has been killed and nine others, including two women, have been wounded as a result of a traffic accident in northern Samangan province, an official said on Tuesday.
Qari Mohammad Nazir Sayed, head of the Traffic Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News a Corolla-type vehicle collided with a motorcycle on the Samangan-Balkh highway in Hazrat Sultan district late on Monday.
He said a man lost his life and nine others, including two women, were wounded in the collision. The injured were evacuated to the provincial hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Syed Usman Hamidi, director of the provincial hospital, said three of the injured were in critical condition.
