KABUL (Pajhwok): Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) supreme leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhunzada has asked former government employees to return to the country and live a dignified life.
Akhunzada wrapped up a 14-day tour of northern provinces, during which he met local officials, thousands of religious scholars, governors, intelligence chiefs and tribal elders, wrote IEA deputy spokesman Muhammadullah Fitrat on his X page.
The supreme leader visited Herat, Badghis, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sari Pul, Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces during his trip.
